Message from The Latvian Presidency:

Dear Colleagues,

The Latvian Presidency team in the field of territorial cohesion and urban matters would like to thank you very much for close and efficient collaboration during the Latvian Presidency!

Finalising the Presidency duties, we would like to share with you the following materials:

1.     Riga Declaration agreed during the informal Ministerial meeting on June 10 in Riga (see here);

2.     LV PRES note that was presented during the General Affairs Council meeting on 23 June 2015 (see here);

3.     Short LV PRES Outcome Paper, summarizing the main outcomes and the discussion regarding provisional priorities of the EU Urban Agenda and key milestones in its development (see here);

This was a great experience for us and we are very grateful for your strong support! All together we have managed to progress in the discussions, especially regarding the EU Urban Agenda development. Nevertheless there is a lot of work still ahead of us. 

In that regard we would like to wish a lot of success to our dear Trio partners - the incoming Luxembourgish Presidency! J
