44th EAROPH Regional Planning Conference in Brunei Darussalam, 9th-10th November 2011:  Managing Urban Growth: Challenges for Small Cities

CALL FOR PAPERS – with a special request for European speakers and case studies

The Brunei Department of Town and Country Planning, EAROPH and IFHP is organising a joint conference on “Managing Urban Growth; Challenges for Small Cities” to address themes in the broad areas of natural resource and asset management, housing and good governance.  Making use of the presence of both European and Asian professionals, they are currently looking particularly for case studies from successful small and medium-sized European towns and cities. Paper presenters other than keynote speakers will be entitled to free registration for the conference. They will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. Each presenter will have 30 minutes to deliver his/her papers and a 10 minute question and answer session. Successful presenters will be advised by 1 August 2011. Final papers will be required by 15 September 2011.
