STRAND International Design Awards – Micro and Macro Award are dedicated to the recognition of implemented projects, as well as projects and competitions in the field of architecture design, interior design, furniture design (home and street or public decor), public space design, urban design, smart city design, art projects, new ideas and their exemplary implementations.

The Awards are dedicated to the recognition of design solutions in innovative ways – in form and materialization, new building concepts that successfully set new standards in architecture and interior and new urban concepts that improve public space as well as concepts that encourage neighborhood environmental sustainability.

We invite the submission of original research and projects in form of Exhibition Posters related to (but not limited to) the following topics.

According to Scale Micro/Macro
– from Micro: Interior Design, Furniture Design (home and street or public décor), Home and Architecture Design
– to Macro: Public Space Design, Urban Design, Smart City Design and Architecture Design

According to Thematic Scope
– Reworking the City Through New Architecture
– Cultural Identity and Tradition – nurturing in globalized Design
– Facing the Future
– Globalization and Design
– Smart City: principles in architecture and urban design
– New Media Approach – New Materials and Design in Architecture

Exhibition Registration includes:
– participation at all side events Opening of the Exhibition, Welcome Reception and Awards Ceremony,
– copy of Abstracts & Exhibition Book,
– FREE Registration for KeynoteTalks – Case Netherlands [15 September]

Please note that the Posters submitted printed and mounted on foam board for the Exhibition must have identical Layout as the one previously submitted by email for the Jury and evaluation process.
For the foreign applicants STRAND organization can offer service of printing if needed.

Poster Layout

Posters for Jury should be sent by 15 October 2017 by email info[at]strand.rs

Dimensions are restricted to 60 x 80 cm, portrait orientation. There is no restriction in design layout or font since Poster Design is evaluated by Jury.

Same Posters printed and mounted on foam board are to be submitted at the Gallery in late November before the Exhibition Opening.

Works submitted in Art Category have no restriction in size or orientation.
