Talk and debate with Leo Van Broeck on the topic ‘Challenges for our planet, challenges for spatial planning?’

As Vlaams Bouwmeester (2016-2020), Leo Van Broeck and his team take care of the quality of public spaces, architecture and design of public buildings and several urban and regional planning projects. Working as an advisory body for public authorities, the Bouwmeester is very much involved in development projects and policies of national, regional and local planning administrations in Flanders and Brussels. He is considered as an authority in the field of planning, architecture and landscape design, opening the debate on the role of spatial planning in our society and the need to take action, given the current climate challenges. He does not shy away from taboos and is willing to debate with us, European spatial planners, on Friday evening.
