ECTP-CEU Young Planners Workshop 2016: URBAN PLANNING PUBLIC SPACE AND MOBILITY

This Edition of Young Planners Workshop is a project shared with 11th European Urban and Regional Planning Awards 2016 organized by ECTP-CEU along with the Committee of the Regions.

In this framework, the ECTP-CEU Young Planners workshop proposes a topic linked to the 11th European Urban and regional Planning Awards: mobility . This offers to the 2016 Young Planners workshop taking advantage of the Award Ceremony on the 4th July in Brussels to hold a common meeting-workshop together with Ceremony’s participants and Awards winners.

The organization has scheduled a previous and specific session the day before the Awards Ceremony for presentations of projects developed by young planners in order to promote discussions and conclusions.

As conclusion of workshop, the ECTP-CEU will publish an e-book with all projects and works developed and presented in the framework of Young Planners Workshop.

ECTP-CEU is recruiting an Intern

The European Council of Spatial Planners is recruiting an intern.
Under the responsibility of the Secretary General, your mission is to establish and validate with the ECTP-CEU’s 27 member associations of ECTP the presentation of their identity and activity reports, making them available for the ECTP-CEU website.

Moreover, for the European Urban and Regional Planning Awards, the submitted projects will require producing fact sheets on the projects, their authors and the cities and territories involved.
Working languages are English and French.

You will work closely with Julian Hills, ECTP-CEU Secretary.
The workplace is to be discussed, telecommuting is possible/preferred.
-> Interns from any European country is possible !

Internship duration: 3 to 6 months, shorter is possible

ECTP-CEU recrute un/une Stagiaire

Le Conseil Européen des Urbanistes recrute un(e) stagiaire.
Sous la responsabilité du Secrétaire Général, votre mission consistera à établir et valider avec les secrétariats des 27 associations membres de l’ECTP-CEU la présentation de leurs identité et rapports d’activités, de sorte à les rendre disponibles sur le site internet de l’ECTP-CEU.

Par ailleurs, dans le cadre du Grand Prix Européen des Urbanistes, il s’agit de valoriser les projets présentés en réalisant des fiches de synthèse sur les projets, leurs auteurs et les villes et territoires concernés sur la base d’un travail déjà engagé.

Les langues d’échange et de travail sont l’anglais et le français.
Vous travaillerez en étroite relation avec Julian Hills, secrétaire de l’ECTP-CEU.

Le lieu de travail sera à discuter, l’option de télétravail est possible/préféré.

Durée du Stage : de 3 à 6 mois, plus court est possible

The 11th European Urban and Regional Planning Awards

ECTP-CEU, with the support of the Committee of Regions is proud to organise the 11th European Urban and Regional Planning Awards.

The ECTP-CEU’s European Urban and Regional Planning Awards give recognition to planning strategies, schemes or developments which make an outstanding contribution to the quality of life in urban and rural regions of Europe.

This is also a particular opportunity now that we have refreshed the European Charter of Spatial Planning stressing the emergency for strategy, participation processes and sustainable development in all processes of spatial planning.

The Award will be open to spatial planners and municipalities from the 47 European Countries of the Council of Europe.

3 categories of entries are considered:
1. Strategic Planning
2. Smart mobility within cities and territories
3. Energy efficiency and spatial planning

Le 11ème Grand Prix Européen de l'Urbanisme 2015-2016

L'ECTP-CEU, avec le support du Comité des Régions, est fier d'organiser le 11 ème Grand Prix Européen de l'Urbanisme.

Le Grand Prix Européen de l'Urbanisme de l'ECTP-CEU a vocation de distinguer les politiques urbaines, les opérations, ou les projets de développement qui contribuent à améliorer la qualité de vie dans les régions urbaines et rurales en Europe.

Suite à la remise à jour de la Charte de l'Urbanisme, c'est également l'opportunité de souligner l'urgence de mises en place de stratégies, de processus participatifs et de développement durable dans tous les processus d'Urbanisme.

Ce Grand Prix est ouvert à tous les urbanistes et instances des 47 pays européens du Conseil de l'Europe.

3 catégories de projets seront considérées :
1. Urbanisme stratégique
2. Mobilité Intelligente dans les villes et territoires
3. L'efficacité énergétique et l'aménagement du territoire
