The XIIIth European Urban and Regional Planning Awards: call is OPEN

Promoting the European Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals

The European Urban and Regional Planning Awards, organized every two years by the ECTP-CEU since 1990, provide a common framework for planning practice and rewards examples of good planning all over Europe and allow the European Council of Spatial Planners to promote the concrete implementation of the Charter of European Planning approved in April 2013 in Barcelona.

Since 2010, these awards have been supported by and have been in collaboration with the Committee of the Regions of the European Union where the Awarded projects have been presented to the COTER (Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy and EU Budget) assembly of local and regional elected members.

The categories of the Awards are the following:
• Regional Planning
• Local Spatial Plan
• Urban project
• Urban Design

LE XIIIe GRAND PRIX DE L’URBANISME EUROPEEN 2020: l'appel est OUVERT

Promouvoir l’Agenda Urbain Européen et les Objectifs du développement Durable

Les Grands Prix européens de l’urbanisme, organisés tous les deux ans par l'ECTP-CEU depuis 1990, fournissent un cadre commun pour la pratique de l'aménagement du territoire, récompensent les bons exemples dans toute l'Europe et permettent au Conseil européen des urbanistes de promouvoir la mise en œuvre concrète de la Charte de l’urbanisme européen approuvée en avril 2013 à Barcelone. 

Depuis 2010, ces prix sont soutenus par le Comité des Régions de l'Union européenne et organisés en collaboration avec eux. Les projets récompensés ont été présentés à l'assemblée des élus locaux et régionaux de la COTER (Commission de la politique de cohésion territoriale et du budget de l’UE).

Les catégories des prix sont les suivantes :
- Aménagement du territoire régional ou agglomération
- Plan d’aménagement local
- Projet urbain
- Design urbain

The ECTP-CEU is looking for a part-time Secretary (m/f)

As Secretary you provide administrative support in order to make the European umbrella organisation work efficiently.
You assist the Secretary General and the Executive Committee; you are the organisation’s point of reference for all queries, requests or issues.
We are looking for a part-time (min 35 to max 50 %) flexible worker, who can work from home or elsewhere independently. The secretary is generally available during weekdays in order to answer emails and phone calls. There is no office available and there are no direct colleagues. A laptop computer and cell phone is provided. Limited two-day travels within Europe (generally 1 or 2 per annum).
